The wine opens with rich layers of dark berries, black cherry and plum, complemented by notes of cracked black pepper, cured meat, olive tapenade, bergamot and African violets. The palate is firm and well structured, with fine tannins balanced by a velvety, smooth mouthfeel. The finish is long, vibrant and brooding.
