Julien Schaal Mountain Vineyards Chardonnay

This wine is only available to order by the case

Pale straw yellow with delicate golden highlights, this elegant Chardonnay opens with expressive aromas of citrus blossom, green apple, white peach and ripe pear, complemented by subtle flinty, struck-match notes and hints of toasted almond, oatmeal and vanilla. The palate is sleek and beautifully balanced, combining vibrant orchard fruit with fresh, linear acidity and a gently creamy, lees-derived texture. A savoury mineral character emerges on the finish, giving the wine lovely length, freshness and complexity.
