A bunch of South African red grapes hanging from vines

South African origins...

South Africa has a long history of winemaking, dating back to the 1600s, with the first bottle being produced in the region of Constantia. It wasn't until the 1990s that winemakers re-emerged with new wines, wineries and growing regions.

There are numerous outstanding growing areas in South Africa, including Constantia, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Swartland and Elgin. Each area produces its own unique style of wine.

  • I immediately messaged my friend who recommended WineTrust when I opened this bottle to thank him as this was a beautiful red that was just too easy to drink. So… I’ve come to remind myself just how easy it was and buying more.

  • A lively and crisp wine with a delicate honey and almond character and a clean, zesty finish with a twist of lime. Great with dressed crab.
